What is the Levelling Up Fund?
First things first, the Levelling Up Fund is an ambitious government initiative which aims to develop "every corner of the UK" through effective investment. This second round of the fund will look to support three investment themes in particular: local transport, town centre regeneration, and culture & heritage. Applicants must focus on high priority and high impact projects that will truly positively transform local areas while demonstrating evidence that they’ve successfully engaged with hard-to-reach groups within the community.
