Why join us?
As a people centric company, our goal is to provide a supportive environment for employees and we recognise that flexible working practices can be of great benefit to staff. Particularly those who have family responsibilities, whether it is bringing up children, or caring for adults or children who are in need of care. We do expect employees to take full ownership of striking the right balance between prioritising their organisational responsibilities and personal commitments.
We don't want you to burn out. We aim to finish at 1:30pm every Friday and believe you should take breaks when you need them. This could mean the gym at 3pm, a haircut at 11am or a power nap after lunch.
Learning & Development
We cover the cost of training courses or activities that will help you learn and grow in your role. Past examples include Built-ID paying for 1-1 sessions with an executive coach, for an Account Manager who wanted to move into marketing to complete the Digital Marketing Programme at the University of Oxford & for a Product Manager to undertake a Scrum Master course.
Holidays and time off
We observe 25 day holidays per year, plus you get a day of your choice off during your birthday week as well as a card and little present. We also take an additional paid winter break from Christmas until New Years.
Social Impact Empowerment
In addition to your holiday allowance, an employee can take an additional 50 hours of paid leave during the periods of 17th - 30th August and 14th - 31st December for charitable endeavours. Each year, you’re empowered to utilise all Built-ID software free of charge for up to 3 voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) passion projects. Employees are also empowered to offer all Built-ID software (present & future) free of charge to nonprofits that seek to address social inequality or climate change.
Fitness & Wellness
We want you to take care of yourself in the way that fits you best - be it with a power walk or a power nap! This includes company membership to headspace -a mindfulness and meditation app that helps to ease stress, well-being and improve sleep.

Being part of the Built-ID team has been the highlight of my career. It's so amazing to be part of a team culture full of knowledgeable people I can learn from, it gives me the opportunity to grow as a person and also improve my skills. People are also willing to help you out and I love that work is not always the topic. The best part about my role since I started in 2020 is that no day is a new day, there are always new clients to help support and new strategies to be put in place to make sure community members are being reached, it always feels like i'm making impact in whatever I do.
Alongside the amazing work culture, the work/life balance is also great as I am able to work 7-4pm on my own terms as this is a better balance for me as I am an early bird. This not only allows me to help people out with time sensitive tasks but also helps me to have a longer time to relax after my working hours, even better with the Headspace subscription offered.
